Let's Get Ready to Learn
Funded Dec 10, 2015Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generosity to this project. You helped me to create a beautiful classroom environment where students feel excited to learn each and every day. The materials provided alleviate the stress that I've experienced in having to become resourceful with tools that are a necessity in an elementary setting. My students take pride in their room and are highly motivated to learn with the incentives provided. The layout of the classroom is neatly organized and after my seventh year of teaching, finally, for the first time, I now a filing cabinet, which has been my lifesaver! The simplest things make a HUGE impact, even for teachers. Your donation has helped make an impact on the lives of all my students. It is a model classroom and when teachers and administrators visit they are pleased with its welcoming atmosphere, colorfulness, and vibrancy. I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for my students. This year 32 students were impacted with the use of coloring materials, incentives, and decor to create an enriched learning environment that is motivational and hands-on! I can't wait for you to see your thank you cards and photographs! Know that you have truly made an impact on my students and their success in school as well as their community. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Funded Apr 7, 2014Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. You have helped to impact the lives of so many students in my resource room. Students that were fearful of school and learning are now excited and eager to learn. Students are learning in interactive ways that allow them to learn early readiness skills, mathematical practices, and skills needed to be successful readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and explorers. Students are also provided with opportunities to do research and learn technology skills necessary for their success. The iPads have been used as incentive for students as well. Everyone wants access to the iPads to learn and have fun exploring. I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for my students. This year 64 students were impacted with the use of these iPads you so generously donated and so many more will have access to them in the future. Know that you have truly made an impact on my students and their success in school as well as their community. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Mr. Roboto!
Funded Jan 22, 2014Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
This is a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to the creation of The Robotics Club at my public school, which would not be possible without donors like you! The club has been so successful and opened the eyes to fifteen fifth graders, about to start middle school. Due to its success, it will continue with fourth graders as well, this spring. Students were elated to design, create, and program their own robots. They were thrilled to take them home to keep!
The LEGO Mindstorms has been iconic for students. They were eager to begin setting up the robot and program it on the computer. Students had an amazing time in this club and fortunately, the LEGO Mindstorms can be used over and over again for future Robotics club members.
I am so grateful for donors like you. Your generosity has put a smile on many children's faces, teachers, and even administrators. My students will always remember the teamwork and camaraderie they shared throughout the clubs run. We plan to continue the club every spring. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do!”

Funded Dec 3, 2013Your generosity has touched the hearts of 43 students that I serve this school year... just imagine the hundreds more to come! With the use of learning file folders, core concepts are being taught to my students in a way that is engaging and fun. They love the file folder games! They provide three step directions for my students to follow in both words and picture cues which helps to foster independence for my students. The file folders are easy to store, which has been my biggest hurdle this school year. The phonics games are so delightful for all my students. We were so surprised they came in a shelf for easy storage. They are used in my room on a daily basis, and the improvement that has been seen in students' reading and writing skills has improved already. The amount of literacy going on in our learning lab is top notch. From writing, reading, and math -- all common core state standards are now being provided in a fun way that is easy to manage and store. From the bottom of my heart, and all of my students, their families, classroom teachers, and administration, we are so thankful for donors like you that help to make a true impact in the lives of so many. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do and continue to do!”

iPads For The Core
Funded Sep 13, 2013Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
This is a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The two iPad mini's that you helped donate, help my students in a way that is meaningful for them and allows an additional outlet for me to differentiate instructions to reach the varied needs of my students. From the apps that are able to be purchased and free tools that are available, my students are enjoying their time on the iPad. This technology is a first for many of my students who see iPad mini's in the stores, but have never had an opportunity to use it and feel like it is their own. With the Common Core standards, technology is an essential component to the classroom and my students are able to reach these goals thanks to the iPad mini's! I know that my current students and students' years to come will love the iPad mini's, you so generously donated.
I am so grateful for donors like you. Your generosity has put a smile on many children's faces, teachers, and even administrators. My students will not necessarily remember the lesson taught to them two months ago, but they will remember the experience they had using the iPad and how this tool helps them to learn in a fun, effortless way. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do!”

Funded Jan 12, 2013Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
This is a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The fairy tale puppets that you donated help my students in so many ways. We've used them to narrate stories, bring characters to life, and perform shows. They have allowed all my students, especially those with learning disabilities and students that speak English as a second language, to feel more confident in their presentations. I know that my current students and students' years to come will love the puppets and show growth as a result of their influence in the classroom.

Stop, Look, and Listen!
Funded Oct 9, 2012From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your generous donation on the behalf of my classroom and my students.
The CD player that was donated is used many times on a daily basis and has allowed my students to be more independent in my classroom, especially during reader's workshop. English Language Learners are able to listen to stories read aloud. Struggling readers are able to listen to sight words and vocabulary words to help them practice. Enrichment is provided for students to read levels that are advanced to better prepare them for guided reading.
My class is able to listen to CD's and cassette tapes throughout the day, even in whole-class activities at our carpet. We are even able to include movement through music because of your generous donation. My students are able to record themselves when reading and speaking with this valuable tool too! We are finding so many amazing ways we incorporate our CD player into our daily routine.
Without your help, this would not have been possible. My students now, and years to come will value the generous gift you donated. We thank you for all that you do! Please know that you have made a difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Platt
