My students missed out on an entire year of in-person learning., which they need to be successful in Algebra One( a high school credit course). This year I would like to fill my lessons with collaborative activities where students can engage with real-life examples by graphing real-life situations. Teaching pre-algebra and algebra one means my students need last year's math skills and many struggled last year in distance learning, so this DonorsChoose project will also allow me to purchase resources to reteach skills they missed last year. and start strong.
