Notebooks and Rulers Make the Math Go Around
Funded Dec 17, 2018Thank you for your contribution to my classroom. Your donation has helped my students with their progress to becoming a great mathematician. My students are using the marble notebooks to organize the math concepts we are learning in class. We are using them as interactive notebooks. My students are able to go back and use their notes as a study guide because they are so organized.
The flexible rulers are great in the classroom. These rulers eliminate noise when they drop or hit the table and they don't break. They are safer to use and they puts my mind at ease.
At the end of the year my students notebooks will be like a portfolio of their journey through 8th grade math.
Again thank you so much for taking the time to donate to my classroom. It is truly appreciated.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you for your donation to our "Coffee And Convo" project. The students are so happy to have a "coffee" station in our room and they get excited every time they are allowed to access it. At the end of our mini unit we did a Mathematical Reflection over some tea and hot coco. Some other teachers joined us and had a cup of coffee. The students enjoyed being able to have discussions about math and everyday life with their peers and the teachers. It helped develop and deepen some of the student teacher relationships. The students always want different teachers to join us for a discussion. Who knew a simple cup of coffee could make such a impact in a class.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Words can't express how grateful my students and I are to have someone like you who is willing to help our learning improve. Having these materials has allowed my students to take pride in their learning of Mathematics. They love color coding their notes and emphasizing important details.
They love having a brand new class set of color pencils and markers. They say they want to keep them nice and neat because they like how it looks. The dry erase circles are a big hit also. While working in class they love to use them as a brain dump or to justify their reasoning to other classmates.
The goal for this school year is to take our notebooks to the next level and make them interactive. I can't say thank you enough.”

Funded Dec 15, 2014Thank you for contributing to my classroom. My students were so happy to receive the mechanical pencils and lead. When I told them that someone gave us the supplies they were so surprised. They think the mechanical pencils are the best because it save them so much time and they say it makes their handwriting look neater than when they write with a regular pencil.
So far we have used the pencils when taking exams and specifically graphing linear functions. This past week they created their own lapbooks to display their understanding of the last unit. The pencils came in handing because I just placed them in their groups' basket along with other supplies they needed so they had easy access to them.
This project has helped a lot with time management and organization in the classroom. Thanks again for your contribution, it is greatly appreciated.”
