Our students will learn how to make a bed independently which will improve their activities of daily living skills. We are trying to set up a functional and accessible environment in the school setting so our students can benefit from increased independence and functional living skills. By allowing them to practice these skills, we are also working on skills such as motor planning, fine motor skills, visual motor/perceptual skills, spatial relations, executive functioning, attention, and bilateral coordination skills. We want to enable our students to succeed in mastering functional ADL skills.
