Funded Dec 31, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness in providing these supplies for our students! I can't wait to share with the students that our project has been funded! I feel like Christmas has come round again. It will be a wonderful way to begin the school year!”

Is It Weather, or Is It Climate?
Funded Dec 4, 2019Wow! I was excited and so were our students when these special tools arrived for us. I must say we all wanted to go right out and try them out. It was amazing that something so small could collect so much data for us. The weather ahs kept us from gathering to much but believe me, we can't wait to try them on a larger scale!
When students want you to pick them up to do science outside of school, it speaks volumes and means much to me as their teacher.
Pleas know that you have done an amazing thing here and our deepest appreciation seems to little in response. Our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks belong to you all.”

Funded Aug 20, 2019I can't begin to tell you how excited I was when these awesome supplies arrived at our door! The children couldn't believe all these things were for them to use. It blesses my heart and encourages me a great deal to know that people who don't even know us have helped us with these very necessary thing. We are deeply grateful and appreciative of your kindness. These materials seem like such small things but they are do very needed and the cost really adds up!
I am so excited to begin the year being able to start this concept from the beginning of school and help our students to develop the skills they need to function easily and efficiently in the global society we are becoming.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and the top)!”

Funded Dec 3, 2019We are so deeply grateful for your generosity in funding this very necessary project. Several of us have taken student laundry home to clean it and even bought clothing for them. Helping them to stay physically clean is a true bonus and believe me both students and teachers are grateful1 Having them come to a classroom after gym class already in need of deodorant and cleanliness........well you get my drift.
The children are all given a small bag they can keep their supplies in. That way no one gets embarrassed and everyone is happy. Your kindness will never be forgotten and we are truly thankful for your help. It doesn't seem like a lot but just in my homeroom alone, several children are homeless. It all adds up quickly.
Our noses, student bodies, and all in general are happy to be clean once again! Blessings to all of you for giving us this very important help!”

Funded Aug 14, 2019Your kindness and generosity means so much to us! It has really encouraged me and given me strength and hope to keep on working with our students. Ink is such a little thing but when you don't have, or can't get it, it is really difficult. We are responsible for making our own copies, obtaining our own printer and maintaining supplies for it as well. When a child needs a paper, or needs to print out his research work, not having the materials available is disheartening to us all. Being able to print that extra page, having a student show his work like a professional, is so encouraging to them1 You have helped to make this happen and for that, I am especially grateful. I truly believe in my children and having you come alongside, encourages me as well.
Thank you so very much!”

Funded Sep 25, 2018Let me say thank you first of all for making this possible for us. You know, it's hard to describe what it like when you need 'stuff' and have few options for getting them. Another teacher walked into my room over lunch and just stared at the binder. You got one?! You are going to use it? Can I cone? It is exciting for us to know we can finish our projects and make things. We are so very excited. You just don't know how obtaining things like this helps encourage us. Thank you so much!
Your kindness and generosity are an inspiration to us all. We are deeply indebted to you.”

Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust.
Funded Jul 30, 2018Thank you so much for making my desperate need disappear! It has really helped me prepare materials for students. You can't imagine how challenging it has been to teach without materials, planning periods, supplies, textbooks, or anything else this year. You have truly given me a light at the end of the tunnel! We can now create and print what our students need! Your generosity towards both myself and my colleague really encouraged us! We have something we can point to as an example of something great that helped us!
You are amazing and kind and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Does Your Water Look the Same as Mine?
Funded May 7, 2018Words cannot adequately express the life changing impact this trip had on myself and the students who went with me. To work alongside of students and scientists from 41 countries around the world, all with the same goal in mind, was astounding to us all. Things we had learned in the classroom took on a bigger meaning when we found we could apply this knowledge to another country and another environment. It was completely amazing.
We learned how to take water samples and use the data we gathered to make sense of a larger environmental issue. We can take this information home and apply it to what we know here. We made friends with so many people that we can continue to work with and gain new knowledge. We will be able to collaborate with schools around the world and share our research with them and they with us.
Thank you for making this possible. We could rest assured that we had a place to stay and food for the entire time, thanks to you. We will never be the same and believe we can bring this training back to our school and make a difference in our community. Please accept our deepest gratitude and thankfulness. You made it possible for us.”

Funded May 2, 2018I truly wish you could have come with us on this trip! Truly a once in a lifetime experience for myself and my students, we have been impacted in such that we will never be the same. We had the opportunity to work alongside students, teachers, and scientists form 41 countries, all with a common purpose, to protect the earth we live on. Two of my students were selected to do an interview that represented the entire science conference to NASA and scientists around the world. You helped provide us with a place to stay while we learned how to test water, soil, and air quality and how to apply that knowledge to the bigger picture. We are so excited to share what we learned with the rest of our students and to make a similar impact on our own community. You have helped us to achieve this and we are eternally grateful for it. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!”

Ms. Atkisson
