  • Healthy, Happy and Learning

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank You very much for the cleaning products. The Clorox, Kleenex and cleaning tools have been essential tools for keeping students healthy. Daily, my assistant and I clean the tables, chairs and sink area twice a day.

Students have participated willing in keeping their classroom clean. Students often come to school with coughs, sneezing and runny noses. Keeping the classroom free of germs is of great importance to both teachers and students. Students have been taught the basics of staying healthy and not spreading germs. They enjoy working together to help wipe clean tables and sweep the classroom. They especially enjoy washing their hands with the scented anti-bacterial hand soaps.

We will continue to keep our classroom clean and germ free daily. We want to be in school with great attendance. Thank you for helping us stay happy and healthy and IN school.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cardoza

  • Technology Needed In The Classroom.

    Funded Sep 25, 2012

The donated laptop, ink, and paper supplies has made work and learning an efficient process in my classroom. The laptop is easy to move around to groups of students working on different levels and assignments. It has also made testing and monitoring student's progress online possible.

The students have made personal notebooks, visual aids, and check their reading progress using the laptop. This has created an interest in learning and a desire to come to the resource classroom more often.

Thank you once again for your generousness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cardoza

My students are students with learning challenges in the 4th and 5th grade enrolled in the general education program. These students have auditory, visual and/or attention deficits that affect their ability to learn. It is difficult for them to grasp concepts and retain meaning. They need lessons and activities that actively engage them and visual aids to help them recall procedures.
