• Project Alert Supplies

  Project Alert is a program we use to help our students understand the effects of drugs and alcohol on teenagers, ways to say no, and be confident in their choices and decisions.

  The supplies make it easier for teachers to get the message across to students, and students are able to do more hands-on learning with the supplies.

  We also ordered positive message cards to give out to students. These cards are fun reminders that students are doing the right thing, and being a leader in our school.

• Comfort Kits. What I Need!

  Thank you for making it easier and more comfortable for our students to get the supplies they need to be comfortable and feel safe at school. Many students have developed a code word with our secretaries to use when they need some of the more personal items. This has made it so much easier for the students to ask for items and for our staff to have needed items available for them to give out.

  Other items are useful for us to have on hand to give our students other coping strategies to use that aren't harmful to them.

  This has been another challenging year, but your donation is helping our students feel comfortable and safe at school.”

• Just Relax!

  Thank you for donating to my students. We are seeing many of our students struggling with stress and anxiety after last year. If was difficult for everyone. This year is bringing even more stress with them transitioning back to full time school, while still having worries of what this year might bring.

  With this purchase I will able to give them the tools and strategies they need to help them cope and thrive this school year and beyond.

• Yum & Fun, Keeps Me on the Run!

  Thank you for your support of my students. I love having snacks for them when they are hungry, and rewards for them when they are making good choices following our PRIDE expectations. Most students and staff are motivated by recognition and a little treat definitely reinforces their behavior.

  With the purchase of these items students are able to choose a sweet treat or a small trinket with their recognition.

• Who's Ready for Recess....AGAIN!!!

  Thank you for donating to our students recess time. Some students like just walking and talking with their friends during their break time, but MANY students begged to have more equipment for their outside, after lunch time. We were able to take suggestions from students and order supplies they wanted. They are so thankful for your contribution to our school. It is so great to start off the year with a wagon full of new equipment.

• Who Is Ready to Show Some Panther PRIDE?

  Thank for supporting our students in Panther PRIDE. We work with our students to show PRIDE (Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, and Empathy.) We use PBIS Rewards to scan students names. Students collect points for following PRIDE and standing out among their peers. With the PBIS Rewards app students can track their points and "cash in" for prizes at anytime. These rewards items you made a donation to will help us to continue with their program and continue to encourage our students to show Panther PRIDE!!

• Who Is Ready for Recess!?

  Thank you for donating to our recess equipment fund. When students come to middle school their fun recess times go away. They spend time during recess in Elementary school with playground equipment, but when they move to middle school they go outside to a field and maybe a walking trail. Many of them still want to play games and sports with their friends. Being able to purchase many different types of sports equipment and other games has made their break time outside with their friends much more enjoyable. Many of them continue to thank me for keeping the equipment available and granting their specific requests for items.”

• What, Me Stressed?

  Thank you for supporting our students through this difficult year. Using the journals and stress balls helped many students focus on school.

  I have approximately 5 students who write to me using their journal. Then I write back to them with answers to their questions or motivation to help them feel less stressed and more comfortable.

  Having a supply of stress balls available at any moment has also helped my students tremendously. As soon as they have one you can see the tension release and their focus is on the ball instead of the event that triggered them.

• Computers for Wildcat Cubs

  Thank you for funding this project! The students at West Field will benefit greatly for many years. As you know we are growing by leaps and bounds this year, but we will still only have one computer lab. This will allow for more students to have access to a computer for AC Reader, Successmaker and many other educational programs. Be sure to stop by after school starts to see what a difference you are making in the lives of students at West Field!!
