  • S.T.E.A.M. & Keeping Environment Clean

    Funded Sep 14, 2016

Thank you so much for your donations to our class project 'S.T.E.A.M. and Keeping the Environment Clean'! The students are using Dot the Robot to learn how to code, which is preparing them to be successful with technology in the real world at an early age. They are able to experiment with the decomposition kits to test which materials will decompose and which ones will not decompose in the earth. They are able to see the different temperatures of the soil while materials are decomposing. This is a great way for them to learn the impact of various materials on our Earth. It has inspired them to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. They all loved seeing and feeling the papyrus paper which was the first paper invented by the Egyptians.

Your donations have influenced a desire for my students to investigate, create, and problem solve. WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Aspinwall

  • Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead

    Funded Apr 26, 2015

Thank you so much for bringing excitement to our classroom through your generous donations. My students are so engaged in learning through the use of the hands-on snap circuit kits and the electricity and magnetism kits you have provided for our classroom. They are learning and their desire to understand electrical circuits has been sparked. The students rotate through learning stations each day. They get to experiment with the materials and they are learning and sharing their new knowledge with each other. It is amazing to hear the excitement in their voices as they learn new things as they build and construct different circuits. You are part of wonderful learning experiences that my students will remember for a lifetime! You are very appreciated for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Aspinwall

  • Engineers in the Making

    Funded Mar 24, 2013

Thank you so much for donating to our class project. The students are really learning and growing academically because of your generous donation. Hands-on activities encourage engagement and are tremendous learning tools that promote life-long learning.

The students love experimenting with the student electricity kits, Switch-On!, Snap Circuit Mini Kit - Musical Recorder, and the KNEX Education Elementary Construction Set. These materials have given my students a head start in learning how electricity works!

We certainly appreciate your support in helping to prepare our students for jobs in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. It is just amazing to see the students working with the materials and excitement as they learn.”

  • Building Like Engineers

    Funded Mar 19, 2013

We are so grateful for your donations to our classroom. You have helped to get our students prepared for jobs that involve science, technology, engineering, and math.

The materials you funded for our room has given my students hands-on experience that helps them understand concepts associated with building structures, finding solutions using different math operations, and has introduced them to electrical engineering.

My students have had the best time building different structures and creating different electrical circuits. They are amazed as they explore and manipulate the materials. You have fostered a love of learning that will last a life time.

Words cannot express their excitement Thank you again for your support!”

  • Navigating With Logic And Creativity

    Funded Jun 9, 2012

Thank you so much for donating to our class project "Navigating With Logic and Creativity". Having logic games to manipulate pieces really helps students understand how to problem solve and use multiple strategies to solve puzzles and logic games. Your donation helped put hands-on materials that is fostering students' imaginations and creativity. It also made it possible for us to have daily rotating workshop stations that each student visits daily. We are very thankful for your kindness to our class. We love thinking 'out of the box' and these games and materials help us do just that!!”

  • Growing with Knowledge in Life Science

    Funded May 29, 2012

Thank you so much for your donation to our class project "Growing with Knowledge in Life Science". The students are enjoying the frog, butterfly, ant, and ladybug habitats. They love observing the animals. It is truly getting them interested in our Unit called "My Backyard". The excitement in their eyes each day is priceless. You have helped foster a love of learning by giving to our project. The hands-on materials enabled the students to grow different kinds of plants in our classroom. • 3...2...1...Blast Off Into Space Exploration!

    Funded May 23, 2012

Thank you so much for your donations to our class project. The materials you helped fund have made our learning of space so much fun. We used the Inflatable Solar System to turn our room into a replica of space. We are learning interesting facts from the Solar System Fact Finder. The Motorized Solar System and Motorized Space Exploration Mobiles help us visualize and understand all about our Solar System. The Space Sand is amazing and the students conducted several experiments with it! They LOVED it!

Your donations will continue to help enhance students' learning year after year. We are so thankful for your contributions!”

Thank you so much for your donations to our class project! My students are using the microscopes and slides every day. We are using the microscopes and slides to have a closer look at plants, animals, and insects that we are studying. It is amazing to see the excitement and to hear the conversations as they share with each other when they discover new things.

My students are having learning experiences that would not have been possible without your donations. The great thing is that I will be able to use the materials for years to come with many more students. We are so thankful for your generosity.”
