The Ball Is In Your Court
Funded Oct 9, 2024We just returned to school from break and we are so excited to be using the volleyballs you have purchased for our team. We are using them at practice and using them during our spring team building meetings. It is so nice for the girls to each have a ball for practice and drills. There is no down time or wait time because everyone has has on a ball.
I am thrilled for next season because your contribution has helped tremendously with no down time and time on task with the girls. I am excited to see the growth and skills the girls will gain over the next three months or so.
Thank you again for contributing to our cause and to our girls!!”

Keeping Kids Connected with the World Around Them
Funded May 4, 2012TVWords cannot express how this donation has changed my classroom. My students have never been so excited about Science and Social Studies. I have been a little ball of fire telling teacher friends about this wonderful resource for our students. The students have debated, discussed, and literally become in charge of their own learning. They are definitely learning to speak up for what they believe in. Students are also learning that everyone doesn't have the same opinion and we must respect each other and their beliefs. These scholastic readers have brought life into my students. My class is no longer robots reciting information back to me. The students are actually thinking for themselves. I also enjoy how the readers are resources that go beyond the regular classroom text. Students may actually go home and see what they have read about that day in class on TV. They love how it is real time.
Parents are making comments and saying they are seeing a difference in their children. Parents have stated their child has asked questions about the election and debates. They are wanting to become part of their world. Parents also have stated they are having conversations at the dinner table again. I have already met my goal of having the students connected to the world around them. I also love the geography or places in the news. My under privileged students actually get to see different parts of the world. They love it.
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and love for our younger generations. You are truly a blessing. You are helping shape the minds of our future leaders. Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Williams
