My classroom is made up of incredible young learners from hardworking, low-income immigrant families who have come to this country in search of a better life. These families deeply value education, seeing it as the key to their children's future, despite facing significant challenges along the way. Many of my students have disabilities that require extra support both in school and at home. In addition, some arrive not knowing English but come in each day with a strong determination to learn and grow. Despite their circumstances, they are eager to strive for the best, showing remarkable resilience and hope.
