  • Pinwheels for Peace Accessories

    Thank you for your generous donations. Because of your support my students will have t-shirts for an amazing reception to celebrate pinwheels for peace. They will focus on celebrating strategies for peace and kindness in the home, school and community. I can’t wait for my students to wear their amazing shirts for this celebration!”

  • Clay Techniques in Art

    Thank you for your kindness and support. Because of your donations my students learned how to use clay techniques and learned the history of chocolate and created clay hot chocolate mugs.

    They made clay mugs using spheres, and pinch pot techniques with the model magic you supported.

    Crayola Model Magic is wonderful clay for my students since it doesn't require a kiln.

    Students had a wonderful time creating this special beautiful hot chocolate mug as a keepsake.

    Students had exposure to clay techniques which they can use for future clay experiences.”

  • Clay Hot Chocolate Mugs in Art

    Thank you for your generous donations. Because of your support my students have terra cotta clay.

    The brown Crayola model magic clay was needed so my students were able create chocolate inside their mugs.

    This clay was needed to help embellish their mugs. The students also enjoyed making mini marshmallows and adding color.

    Crayola Model Magic is wonderful clay for my students since it doesn't require a kiln. Students explored various clay techniques like coil, pinch and sphere in the arts through this project.

    Students had a wonderful time creating this special hot chocolate mug as a keepsake.

    It was an exciting project which incorporated a cross-curriculum theme. Students were fascinated with the history of chocolate and where it came from. Looking forward to sharing photographs.”

    I just found out the exciting news that the pinwheels I requested funded. I’m so excited for my students.

    Every student will be able to share a message of peace and kindness. They will embellish their pinwheels with symbols and words of peace and kindness.

    They will plant their pinwheels to celebrate Pinwheels for Peace in the Butterfly Garden.”
