  • Dressing the Stage

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

Thank your for the generous donation to help provide back top so we could have a background and block out the area behind our cafeteria stage for our production of 101 Dalmatians. Without the curtains and stands we would have not had any way to create a block to the area that contains classrooms behind the stage. The curtains also helped create the feeling of a stage for the performers rather than a raised area we could use to perform the play. We will be using these curtains and stands for many more productions. Thank you again for your help in purchasing these materials.”

  • Can You Hear Me?

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

Thank you for providing the much needed microphones for my drama students. With both the standing microphones and the wireless microphones the audience was able to hear the students even through their required masks. It helped the play and the actor be put on a successful productions. Without your donations the sound would not have been good and the masks would have made the actors sound muffled and unable to be heard. We will be using these microphones for many years to come for many other productions with the drama club and other programs in the cafeteria.”

  • Setting the Scene

    Funded Jan 22, 2022

With your donation I was able to get the scenery and materials I needed to put on a few school productions. I have recently put on the production on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as well as Mary Poppins. Without your generosity we would not have the needed scenery and back drops needed to make the stage ready for the productions.

The black curtains and holders have been wonderful for creating wings and a backdrop for the productions. The screen has been a big help in allowing us to project images for scenery behind the actors so we did not have to use the heavy and cumbersome flats. These materials have made the different for the students during their productions. Thank you for your help.”

  • Let's Read Graphic Novels

    Funded Jan 25, 2022

The books you helped to fund were loved by the students. They fought over who got to read them first and I often had a waiting list with other students waiting to read the book. The students loved the graphic novels and were very excited to read them. Many had a hard time putting the book down to do other work. Without your help, the students would not have these materials. I will be using these books for many years to come and I am sure my new students this coming school year will also enjoy the books that you helped to provide. Thank you again.”

  • Land of Stories and Other Good Books

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

Thank you for the generous donation of books to my classroom. My students love to read books in different series. Since my students have read Land of Stories book 1 in class the sequel books were a hit. I can not keep them on my bookshelf. There is often a waiting list for the books. Students also love the Whimpy Kid books and graphic novels. These resources have engaged my students in reading outside of school hours. We would not have these books without your help. Thank you again for your donation to help provide these books to my students.”

  • Charge It!

    Funded Jan 8, 2022

I have a class set of Chromebooks. With your generous donation, my students are able to charge their Chromebooks each day and we can lock them up for security at night. The old cart we had was falling apart and I did not have enough cords or slots to plug all my Chromebooks in at the same time. The cord was cracked and often did not charge the student's computers. The students love being able to have a set spot to plug in their computer each day and they know that it will be charged and ready for class. Thank you for helping us keep our computers safe and ready for instruction each day.”
