As a reading teacher, I aim to inspire students through the written word; therefore, I have requested books that I can use to serve two purposes. The leveled readers I have requested, such as First Little Readers Classroom Set and Folk & Fairy Tale Easy Readers, are for my students who get reading intervention. These books will go home in reading bags. The social justice books, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg's book and Separate But Not Equal, are meant to inspire and motivate my students to stand up and act. They will know that their voice and presence in the world counts!

About my class
