Interactive Notebooks in Math!
Funded Nov 20, 2013Thank you everyone so, so much. I am so excited to plan out great notes, foldables, and activities to put in these notebooks. These interactive notebooks are going to help my students get ready for Intro to Calculus (and for a few of them, AP Calculus).
I strive to give my students the best education possible, but sometimes teachers need extra resources to do that. I'm deeply moved that you recognize this need and were compelled to take action and help out. Please know that your generosity will be making a difference for 100 students.”

YouTube Math Project!
Funded Aug 14, 2008Thank you very much for helping my students learn to love math! I'm so excited to introduce the YouTube math project to my students, and if they're even half as excited as I am, we're in for a good time. Technology usage in the classroom is of paramount importance, and not just because it gets kids "hooked." I always worry that my students don't have enough opportunities to really learn how to navigate computers and current technology, since many of my students don't have computers at home. But, with this digital camera, I will at least know that every one of my students will at least one opportunity to show off their creative talents. Once again, thank you for helping out my students! I'm very much looking forward to this school year”

White Board Madness!
Funded Mar 7, 2008Thank you so much for your generous donation! I can't believe how quickly this proposal was funded. I've told my kids about the white board and they are all very excited about it, and are even calling "dibs" on who gets to write on it first. The white board is going to make a big difference in the classroom. My kids will be able to "see" the math, in more ways than one. Thank you”

Mira Mira on the Wall...
Funded Nov 28, 2007Thank you for funding "Mira Mira on the Wall!" Your contribution will make a real difference in my geometry class and in the lives of my students. I'm looking forward to their excitement in using such a "cool" and useful tool! I have tried teaching reflections by having students fold paper and trace images, but they weren't really getting the concept of reflections (just paper-folding and tracing!) The MIRA tools will help them to really "see" the reflection. Once again, thank you for helping my students”
