Technology NEEDED In The Classroom!
Funded Mar 30, 2015Thank you so much for funding this proposal. It will help me so much as a teacher to learn better ways to teach Literacy, Math, Science , Social Studies and other interdisciplinary
units while using updated technology. The Surface Pro 3 helps me bring information alive right at the hands of the students. It also offers me opportunities to work with my colleagues in grade meetings and parent meetings and showcase information or strategies I would like to share. I can also use this tool in assemblies to let the students view performances at another time. Thank you once again for helping me work forward to better my teaching practice.”

Funded Dec 17, 2014Thank you so much for helping my students have a clean germ free environment. We are able to prevent germs by washing our hands more frequently because they know they have paper towels within the classroom. As winter has ended allergy season has started so the tissues are so handy. We appreciate the fact we are able to clean our desk after cook shop lessons with cleaners to prevent bugs as well as germs. The students are great citizens and try their best to return pencils in the supply tray when borrowing. Thank you so much for helping to make the students comfortable and less stressed within the classroom when dealing with normal classroom supplies.”

Funded Mar 15, 2013Thank you so much for supporting our classroom literacy library. We are able to add to many genres within the classroom library baskets. The students love the online editions using the nooks. I see excitment when they are reading and proud looks on their students faces while they share with their peers. The students also refer to the bully books during our conflict resolution classes. I must say the selections are very student friendly. The students make connections as well and try to use the strategies within the text to solve problems not only in the classroom but at lunch time .
