  • Help Bring Good News to Kindergarteners With Scholastic News

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for providing our students with a full-year subscription to Scholastic news! The students were so excited to get their first set of five Scholastic news articles! They also loved all of the online games and activities that the subscription came with! From just one month's issue, we were able to learn about how ice is frozen water, the polar bears in the Arctic, different ways people celebrate the New Year, and how our differences make us all special! We even had online digital access to these magazines, fun activities and exciting games provided by the Scholastic News website!

Thank you so much for providing us with an exciting way to learn about the world around us! We are forever grateful for you and your kindness!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Esperanza

  • Help Our Growing Artists

    Funded Jan 25, 2021

Thank you so much for providing our students with these must needed art supplies! They were so excited when they opened up their bags of supplies and could not wait to get started on their art projects!

The students were able to use the art supplies to express what they learned about African American hero's during Black History month. Some of the people they drew were Ruby Bridges and Martin Luther King. They also used their art supplies to create bird houses which tie in with our science unit on plants and animal needs.

Thank you for providing our students with the tools they need to explore, learn, and grow using art. We are forever thankful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Esperanza

My students are hardworking, resilient, and enthusiastic kindergarteners. They are inquisitive learners and compassionate friends. Even though 83.2% of the students at my school qualify for free or reduced priced lunches, their positive mindset and eagerness to give to others does not reflect that. It would be nice to find more ways to provide them with the tools that they need to succeed.
