  • Native American Pride In Literature

    Funded Sep 2, 2008

Thank you for your generous contribution!

My students and I are going to love reading "Code Talkers" by Joseph Marshall together as a class. This will be a transformative literary experience for them.

I feel uplifted knowing that people like you care about my Native American students in a small rural school. They are so often overlooked. You are helping to make a difference and show them that they are important people.

    Thank you again.

  • Projecting Literacy

    Funded Aug 8, 2008

Thank you so much for helping me improve my classroom this year by donating to my proposal! Having a document camera in my room will definitely increase student learning and make class time more fun and engaging for the students and the teacher!

Thank you especially to those of you who are friends and relatives. Your confidence in me and the work I'm doing means a great deal to me.

Your support shows that you are interested in helping all students learn and in closing the achievement gap in this country. Every effort makes a difference!

    Thank you!!!

  • Colonialism, Globalization, and Relevancy in Literature

    Funded Nov 27, 2007

Thank you for helping to fund my project! I'm excited about planning our novel study for next semester. My students will be excited to have their own copy of the novel to work with in class. I believe that this is a book they will enjoy and learn a great deal from.

    Thank you again!
