21st Century Learners Need 21st Century Technology!
Funded Jul 26, 2019Because of your generous contribution, we have had access to reliable technology since the first week of school! We have used our iPads for administering math and literacy assessments, reading and math independent apps, and navigating our library resources for research projects! It has truly made a difference in a our classroom that we have technology we can depend on. Our first graders are becoming comfortable and confident in using this technology in an educational setting, which is invaluable as a 21st century learner!”

Circle All Around!
Funded Aug 19, 2017Thank you so much for your contribution towards our new learning rug! We have loved having a new clean space to learn and play on. The rug is a beautiful map of the world that has been a wonderful resource for us to connect with our learning. We have used it both during our exploration into family immigration and different cultural celebration units. Your support to enhance our learning environment is felt by so many, and we are grateful for it. Being a public school, we truly couldn't do it alone, and appreciate the support of community members like you!”

"Spinning" into a New Year.
Funded Aug 22, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donation made to our classroom this past year. We have loved staying organized in our durable table caddies. These caddies help keep our supplies right at our fingertips, and save transition time when we are ready to get to work. The globes you also helped purchase for our classroom were prefect during our mapping unit, and have continued to be a support through our family history and cultural celebrations units. I truly appreciate all the support you've shown our classroom in 2016, we will continue to learn and work hard using the supplies you graciously donated in 2017!”

"Building" All Our Skills!
Funded Mar 13, 2016We truly appreciate your donation to our classroom! The largest items purchased from this project were two iPads. Through some trial and tribulation, we have found that iPads are the most reliable source of technology for our students to use! They are very durable, especially in our new covers, and they are very user friendly no matter the child's previous experience using computers.
Since the iPads have made it through our doors, we've used them many times. We use them each Friday during our independent centers for math practice. We have also used them for research projects, specifically when we were studying natural resources!
Although wonderful, the iPads were not the only items purchased through this project. We also received many different cooperative games that the students have engaged in. Through these games are practicing social skills, and community building.
Everything we received through this project has truly enhanced our classroom and the student's experiences in first grade! There will never be enough "Thank Yous" to truly show how much this donation has meant to our classroom.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ardourel

Loving Our Library!
Funded Mar 16, 2012From my entire class of 2011-2012, and all of the future classes of Rm. 110, I want to extend a huge thank you for your donation to our project LOVING OUR LIBRARY. Having access to wonderful books early in a students education can make a lasting impression and give students a strong foundation for learning.
Before receiving these books, our classroom library was falling apart, literally. We were having to tape covers and pages back on to books. Now our classroom library is refreshed and has a more plentiful array of topics and levels. We really enjoyed exploring the new books, and I know the classes to come will too!
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for supporting this project and giving to our classroom! ”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ardourel
