• Opening Minds to Life and the Future

  Thank you very much for making this project possible for my high school students. We received with joy the iPad for our school project, my students are trying to get their college class certificate. We hope to get good results with the help of technology. The school asks us to send everything through the CANVAS digital platform and technology is a fundamental part of this course.

  One of my students is taking a CANVAS test in the photos and we thank you for the support you provide, not only to our high school but to all the other schools. We are happy to know that so many people support and help finance our project.

There are students that have to use their cell phones because they do not have access to a laptop. Some of them struggle to see the information on a small screen, and they are able to use the tablet to connect to class or finish an assignment. The laptop will be used by my students whenever there is a need. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by all my students.”

• Knowing Latin America Through Your Eyes

  Thank you for all your donations which have enabled me to purchase the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. This has truly been a great asset for the classroom lessons that I have been able to plan and teach. The students are able to view places of importance and this has led to many interesting discussions and conversations between the students.

  My students would not have been able to "virtually" visit all the sites, especially due to the pandemic. The discussions have led to some wonderful inquiries by many of my students. It is incredible how this tool has broadened the scope of my lessons and discussions.

  I am truly grateful to all the donors and especially to "Donors Choose" for the addition of this technology to my classroom. I could not have afforded it to enhance the quality of my lessons on my own.”

  I am using the hard drive in my classroom. This has truly been a great asset for the classroom lessons that I have been able to plan and teach. The hard drive allows me to store my students' lessons, videos, and work.

  It is a good tool to store all of my students' work. It allows me to keep the work and to show it to the parents when they want to view the assignments.

• Viewing My Students Great Work

  The addition of the Dell monitor to our classroom is truly appreciated. This year, technology has played a vital role in all classrooms. This monitor will be used to be able to view all my students during "online" class time. The monitor is greatly needed since, at this time, none was available in our school for home use. Now I can better monitor the student involvement during the Zoom sessions. The size of the monitor makes it a lot easier to be able to view all of my students instead of having to switch screens back and forth in order to view the class. It is going to be well used and vital for keeping all students engaged.”

• Capture Different Views of the World!

  The addition of the Canon camera and the Wacom Intuos Creative Pen Tablet have been of great benefit and use for my classroom. I have been able to visit historical sites and have captured some wonderful moments to share with my students.

  I am also using the camera as a webcam. This has truly been a great asset for the classroom lessons that I have been able to plan and teach. The students are able to view places of importance and this has led to many interesting discussions and conversations between the students.
