    Thank you for your donations! As soon as the boxes arrived, the classroom cheered. They love having the ability to work anywhere in the room other than their desks. With the flexible seating they enjoy doing independent work. Being able to walk around the classroom and seeing the students productive and happy is amazing. Kids also love having different choices and the seats you helped purchase allows for that. The chairs you helped purchase today are a class favorite.   • Making Remote Learning Fun!

    Thank you so much for donating to my project. Remote learning has not been easy on me as a teacher but even more so my students. Trying to make lessons that would be more hands on in the classroom fun via Zoom has been challenging. Having the visuals that some students need are not as easy over a computer. Through your donations I have been able to obtain projects that can make learning a little more fun. The kids enjoy the variety of work they are given, rather than the same thing over and over.     There aren't enough words to say thank you for all your help in funding my project. I truly appreciate the support.

    As soon as all the different stuff was delivered my students were jumping out of their skin to get into them. They can't wait to get to independent work so that they can sit in their comfy chairs.

    Students will continue to be able to use the chairs anytime they see fit. They are used in rotation so that they all get a chance. They love the different options they can choose from. Again thank you so much!”

On a daily basis, my students struggle to stay focused on the task at hand. Whether we are learning during whole group instruction or we are working independent, many distractions present themselves to divert us from our goal. For some, sitting at a desk can cause them to lose focus. When students are given an opportunity to sit and work where they want to they will be able to fully focus on their learning. As a result, other students will also be able to focus on the task at hand. Overall, the classroom will become a quiet, calm, and focused classroom where great levels of learning will take place. All students will be provided with the seating options so all will benefit.

About my class
