My students should be "digital natives," but many of them only have access to computers when they step inside my classroom. The four laptops in my class must do the work for every one of my 23 students, which means that they can visit the technology center only once every six cycles. With two additional laptops, my students could have so more time and access -- enabling them to hone their skills in all of the content areas they so eagerly study: math, science, social studies, and language arts. My first graders clamor for the computers, and two extra ones will put the world at their fingertips!
