Our classroom needs an area that my students will love to read in. The bean bags, flexible seating, and study carrels will give the students choice. It will open a window of opportunity. Opportunity to become immersed in a book and away from their neighborhood. They will be able to choose their comfy spot and curl up with a good book. I want to encourage a love of reading and help students see that they can read anywhere. I can already imagine the look on their faces when they see the furniture and realize that it is for them to read on.
