I have students who are craving an exciting education! For many, their 1st interaction with a computer happens here at school. Many come from low income homes with limited access to technology. Technology helps engage my entire class- my advanced students can be independent learners , while my struggling readers challenge themselves because of the excitement different programs bring to them. I have several students with severe ADHD that are highly motivated when reading on the computer compared to a text book. Other students are visual learners and need more than just me explaining the concept of "Reading for Information" on a plain white paper. This CD-ROM would help stimulate these type of learners with the vivid visuals! To be honest, all of my students would be more engaged with these software's amazing graphics!
