The school I teach at is a Chicago neighborhood school, in a wonderful and supportive community. The teachers that I work with are dedicated and caring individuals, who strive to do the most for their students. For the past six years, I have been a diverse learner teacher, and currently work with 14 wonderful students. I also share a room with two other diverse learner teachers, so there is definitely a lot going on in our room! The students in my classroom are hard working, active, and imaginative. They are very supportive of each other and help to motivate everyone to do their best. They are motivated to learn through kinesthetic, auditory, and visual learning. Currently our classroom is very bland, and lacks the atmosphere and resources for my students to reach their fullest potential. With some additional resources it will allow my students to learn and grow in the environment that they deserve.
