My third grade students are motivated to learn new things and help with things not attempted before in our school. Our class is in charge of a paper recycling project that we started after Christmas and "are happy to finally be in charge of something at our school," as one student put it. The student population at our school is not very diverse, but students of different ethnicity's are gladly accepted and strong friendships are developed. Our school is a PreK-12 grade school in four buildings with two being Huetterite Colonies. The population is around 400 students. One of our goals as a school is to empower our students to become problem solvers using creative and critical thinking 21st Century Skills. We feel engaging them with technology will be helping to get them ready for future years.
