Crafting Learners
Funded Jan 29, 2022My students were able to create fun crafts with the materials you all helped provide. Throughout the school year we were able to use holidays and traditions to create fun crafts and celebrated diversity in our classroom and school. Students love to create and share their experiences in the classroom with their families. These small projects gave students to exposure to different skills to use and practice. The excitement in their faces when going home and showing their families is incredible to see. Thank you for helping us learn!”

Back to School: Distance Learning Edition
Funded Aug 11, 2020With the help of your generous donations, I was able to send my students the necessary and essential materials needed to learn from home during distance education.
When students received their materials, they had the happiest faces. They were so excited to start learning with all of their new materials. They especially enjoy using the materials when learning how to become writers and illustrators.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make distance learning enjoyable with the donations you have helped provide.”

Funded Aug 9, 2020With the help of your generous donations, I was able to introduce my kindergarten students to different types of text and an organized classroom library they can enjoy once we are able to return to face-to-face instruction. Our library has been an important resource during distance learning, my students enjoy the books we read in our virtual classroom. We have been learning all about characters, setting, and the different parts of a story. While at the same time, expanding our vocabulary and learning new words that we didn't know before.
We use these books during our recorded and live lessons. The students love listening to new stories with eye-catching illustrations, and having fun and interesting books in kindergarten is essential for our foundational learning.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make distance learning enjoyable with the donations you have helped provide. We are all so fortunate to be able to enjoy new books everyday.”
