Explore the World Using a Drone!
Funded May 11, 2023My students are learning how to fly the drone. They are practicing flying it on the playground. They are excited to fly them. They will draw a picture of themselves flying the drone and will write a few sentences of how they felt while they were flying them.
When they saw the martials they were very excited. When I opened the package and they saw me charging the drones, they couldn't wait to try them out. We finally tried them out and the students had a lot of fun flying them on the playground.
The next steps are to have the students practice flying them around the playground. Once they are good at flying them, I will have them use the camera and take picture of the playground and describe what they saw through the camera of the drone. I'll have them present their findings to the class.”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you, donors, for your generosity. With the iPad that was donated my students can use it for many different assignments. First and foremost, they use the iPad for research. They research animals, types of plants, dinosaurs, etc. In addition, they use the iPad for learning games such as Kahoot, Prodigy, and for reading digital books.
The students from my class love how easy it is to use the iPad. They can log into their school account and access their learning platforms with ease. In addition, the iPad has an excellent resolution that the images that they look at are great.
My English Language Learners have especially warmed up to this iPad because it helps them with learning English. Thank you again for your donation, my students are excited to use this tool every day.”

Funded Apr 29, 2022After ten years of use, our printer stopped working, my students were devastated, but now that we have our new printer, they love the better quality of it. They feel blessed with the new printer.
They got to create art work and print it. They just created Mother's Day cards using the printer. They also got to work on their multiplication coloring pages printed with the printer. They keep making suggestions of what projects they want to create and print.
My students thank you from the bottom of their hearts. They appreciate your generosity. Thank you donors.”

Help my students practice reading
Funded Feb 18, 2013Thank you for your generous donation. My students use the Kindle Fire every day. They use it to read their favorite stories. They also use it to practice their phonics and phonemic awareness. Sometimes they even use it to practice math, they practice money, time, addition, and subtraction. Every day they are excited to come to class because they have the opportunity to use technology in the classroom to learn more.
Without your donation most of my students would have never had the opportunity to use such a useful tool to help them read and to enjoy good books.
Once again thank you for your generous donation. My students also thank you from the bottom of their hearts.”

Mr. Fuentes
