Thank you for helping to give my students a comfy place to relax. The calming corner allows my students to cozy up to a good book and have a moment to recharge.
The big chairs and inclusive decor have been instrumental in creating a safe overall atmosphere for all students. It's amazing how transformative a rug can be and how much students appreciate homey touches.
The updated books to our class library insures greater representation and further fosters inclusion. It makes reading appealing and who could ask for more?”

Students in my high school Avid class are first generation college students. Many come from low socioeconomic, immigrant backgrounds and while they have the potential to succeed, often need the support. The Avid program is a nationwide program designed to offer support to these talented and often underrepresented kids, helping them create a legacy of college for generations to come.
