The school that I teach at in California is a Title 1 school. Due to the major financial crisis our school like many others has faced enormous budget cuts. My 5th grade class of 33 students possess a great capacity and willingness to learn. Many of my students do not have access at home to computers and the Internet. Unfortunately, because the 4 computers in my classroom are older than my students, I am unable to use the media associated with the curriculum for 5th grade. So ultimately my students are being cheated out of the full experience by not being able to access the software.
