  • Daily Practice Makes Perfect

    Funded Dec 29, 2022

I can't thank you enough for funding this project! Students love using these daily practice journals and are always excited to start our sessions with a quick and fun activity to get their brains engaged before we work on their Individual Education Plan Reading goals. The journals have made it easier for me to keep student's work organized, as well as, reduce the number of copies that need to be made to work towards their goals. The students feel special having a book that is just for them that no other student in their class has. We all appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Blincoe

  • Do You Copy?

    Funded Dec 22, 2022

Thank you so very much for your support in donating to this project. Funding in education has been cut and we no longer have the money needed for basic supplies. At my school we have a copy limit of 500 per month. I have a caseload of 35 students, each with individual reading and math goals. With the help of the copy paper from this project I am able to print activities specific to each student's Individual Education Plan Reading and Math goals. Students have been much more excited and engaged in our sessions because I am able to find and print activities that interest them.

I know there are many projects to choose from and I appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Blincoe

  • Practice Makes Perfect

    Funded Nov 14, 2021

I appreciate your support so very much. This has been a difficult school year. I am currently in my 4th position. So a you can imagine I've been busy! I must apologize that I have not completed the thank you package sooner. I have been moved to K-2 ESE support facilitation and I just haven't had the time to come up for air. As a result, the materials have not yet been used. YET! I do have several students that will benefit from using the magnetic boards and the magnetic letters to create CVC words, but we still have a ways to go before they can get there. So fear not! The materials will be put to good use in due time. Again, Thank you so very much for your support during a time that has been quite an adjustment.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Blincoe

  • Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

My teaching position changed this year. I am no longer teaching a classroom full of Kindergarteners. However, I am still teaching. I am pulling small groups of students K-2 for Reading and Math support throughout the school day. What does that mean for the materials from this project? I have been able to use a few in my groups but I have not been able to create a classroom transformation like I had wanted. I will be able to in future school years as this position is only temporary through the Cares Act funding. I appreciate all of your support more than you know and I look forward to getting back to the classroom so my students can learn the alphabet and their names in a tropical paradise. I hope you enjoy the pictures of some of the kiddos I currently teach and the materials that we received.”

  • Dinosaur Madness

    Funded Jul 15, 2021

Words can not express how grateful I am to have this project be fully funded. We won't be doing our Dinosaur Expedition until the end of the school year but I am so excited to show you some pictures of what it looked like at the end of the previous school year. With all of the items purchased it will help to enhance the student's experience and I know that they will be over the moon excited! The students will now be able to dress the part in their safari hats and vests as they sit in their Jeeps. The dinosaur costume I had originally wanted was no longer available so I was able to get Dig and Discover Dinosaur Eggs. These eggs are super cool as the kids can be paleontologists and chip away at the egg to discover which dinosaur they have inside. With so many fun and creative additions I know that the students will be engaged and loving every minute of their learning adventure!”

  • Centers From A Distance

    Funded Nov 17, 2020

Thank you so very much for supporting this project. This has been a school year like no other with so many changes. A typical day is simply just not the same. Students are not allowed to work together or share materials so it has been a struggle to figure out how to make centers work.

This project provided enough paper and laminating sheets to be able to create individual centers. The students are engaged and truly enjoy the activities. The centers are durable and will be able to last for years to come. Thank you for your generosity during this unprecedented time.”

  • Pop and Add

    Funded Feb 20, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation! I was not able to take pictures before we left for Spring Break and well, we haven't been back. So I apologize. We were able to use the Pop and Add games before we left for break and it was very beneficial for my lower students and English Language Learners since it was all very hands on and fun. One student finally understood that you have to take ALL of the bones and count them together. Once that light bulb went off for her she was able to relax and enjoy adding. I can't wait to be able to use these next year! Thank you.”

  • Our Disappearing Glue Sticks Have Disappeared!

    Funded Feb 20, 2020

Thank you for donating to this project. It's hard to believe that schools are closed and we haven't seen these kiddos for 3 weeks now. We had such a fun project planned for when we came back from Spring Break. We were going to do a book study. The last picture I attached shows part of what their "Book Worm" would have looked like. I made 20 of those before break and each one needed an entire glue stick to get all of the pieces firmly attached! That's a little less than one of the cases of glue sticks your donation provided. At this rate the project will be ready for the next school year and I'll be all stocked up with glue sticks for the beginning of the year. They won't go to waste!”

  • You Just Made Me Ink!

    Funded Nov 30, 2019

Thank you so very much for your generosity in funding this project. There are so many things that we use lamination and ink for throughout each school day. The ink provided in this project will last through the remainder of this school year and into the beginning of the next. We use about 50 lamination pouches with each reading and math unit so the ones provided through funding this project will easily last for the remainder of the school year. Your kindness allows me to pay it forward and help out my teammates by making color copies for them and laminating some of their materials too. So your donation helps more than just my students. We are all very thankful for donors like you!”

  • Can You Copy?

    Funded Sep 15, 2019

Words can not express the amount of gratitude that I have for your funding of this project! We are so very limited on our copies through the school copier that this just made my year! To pay it forward I gave my copy code to a beginning teacher so now she has twice her allotted copies. The freedom that having my own printer provides is priceless. The students were very excited to see that we have our own printer also. Now I can make copies of homework, center activities, data reports, assessments and anything else my heart desires because I don't have to worry if I am close to my copy limit, if the copier has toner, or if it has jammed...again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Blincoe

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and look at the projects that are currently posted for my kiddos. I teach 2nd grade at a beautiful school with an amazing school family. We all want the best for our students and your donations help to enrich their educational experience. I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was inspired by my second grade teacher, Mrs. Comcowich. We have a unique opportunity to mold the future. Wouldn't you want the future to have access to the best? I know I do!
