Students in my classroom struggle staying seated all day long. I want to create a room where they can move during independent work time to a location that will help them stay focused and learn. Students often do their best thinking and creating when they are allowed to move to an area other than the traditional desk and chair. I want to fill my room with options for my students. Because I teach older students, we have researched and visited other classes using flexible seating. My students have donated items and have selected the items to be purchased with this project.
