  • Focus With Headphones

    Funded Aug 19, 2024

    Thank you for your generous donation towards the much appreciated headphones. My students can now stay focused and work independently on Amplify Reading and iReady Math without any noise distractions. They can also have fun on multiple learning

    games to enhance their learning.

    Additionally, students can now listen to soothing music to regulate emotions when needed.

    I can now work with a small group on targeted instruction while students are working independently and quietly on technology.

    It is so much quieter, students are now more focused on their learning.”

  • Remote Learning Necessity

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. The IPads donated are helping students who have district issued IPads learn at from home. Currently the IPads are being used to log into our distance learning zoom sessions for students who are still learning from home. Their attendance and ability to complete their assignments has increased significantly.

    Once the children return to school, I plan to build an in-classroom technology center. My students express a great curiosity for technology especially because a lot of them don't have access to technology products at home. Being technologically fluent is a necessity and you have given them the opportunity to explore this.”

  • Let's Stay Connected

    Funded May 20, 2020

    The two iPads that were funded through your generous donations helped my students

    participate while learning virtually. They were able to easily download(view) passages and practice reading skills. Students were able to participate in story time discussions, view math lessons, practice skills and ask clarifying questions while listening to a lesson.

    The most exciting part for my students was to finally be able to see their classmates during zoom. They were so excited to be able communicate and learn once again with their friends.

    A couple of students were especially grateful because they were finally able to access a platform where assignments were posted. This brought great relief to the student and parent.”

It also provides immediate feedback while practicing reading, math, and other skills. There are countless resources that will enhance my students learning through the use of technology. Furthermore, online practice fosters a more collaborative learning environment. These 21st century students can network together online and share information. Technology is an effective tool that motivates and supplements my students learning experience.
