My students are in a self contained special day class for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. They attend a title 1 school in the heart of a major US city where the majority of the student population is living at or below the poverty level and almost all are English Language Learners.They are 3rd-5th grade and require support not just for their academic curriculum but for behavior intervention and hygiene as well.
