Many of my students' academic knowledge only comes from school. There is no other outside enrichment. If it's not taught at school, then they don't learn it. I teach all subjects to third grade students in a low-income neighborhood in Georgia. My school is a Title I school and 99% of the students receive free or reduced-lunch. Many of the students live in rented homes or apartments. Students often change schools. My school has a high mobility rate, thus disrupting the stability of my students.
