Funded Apr 21, 2022Art materials play a significant role in the development of my kindergarten students. The use of art materials in my classroom helps my students to express themselves creatively and develop important skills such as fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive development.
Art materials such as crayons, paints, markers, and watercolors, encourage my students to experiment with different colors, textures, and shapes, which helps to develop their creativity and imagination. Additionally, using these materials helps my students to develop their fine motor skills, as they learn to hold and control a range of art tools.
Art activities also promote hand-eye coordination and cognitive development. For example, when my students draw or paint, they must coordinate their hand movements with their visual perception, which helps to develop their hand-eye coordination. Furthermore, art activities help my students to develop their cognitive skills by encouraging them to think creatively, problem-solve, and make decisions.”
