These materials will help my students be more engaged in more non-fiction texts. Students need practice in all types of reading, and these titles are engaging for my middle school readers who are sometimes reading below grade level. They need high-interest low level readers to help them achieve their reading goals. The ancient civilization pack of books will help the students further their knowledge on ancient civilizations since that is the 6th grade standard. It is beneficial for students to see other text examples besides just their in class textbook. Students will be able to do more research on their topics with these materials.
