My students will use iPads and computers to work on phonemic awareness skills, to listen to stories, to record themselves read, to view and create videos that demonstrate their learning. My second language learners will have access to a variety of resources at the tip of their hands. My students will learn basic things like typing and using a mouse to advanced things such as augmented learning and coding. I'm a new edtech teacher on this campus and I need the tools to show my students how be responsible digital citizens and 21st century learners. I currently do not have any technology in the classroom, so it is very challenging to show them how to effectively use a computer and how to safely navigate online.
