• Kindness and Friendship In Kindergarten

• Lunar New Year Art: Empowering Creativity With Easel Paper

  Thank you so much for donating to provide boomwhackers for our kindergarten class! The kids were so excited to explore them, and their faces lit up with joy as they made music together. These fun instruments are a wonderful way to introduce rhythm, teamwork, and creativity in our classroom. We first used them on Lunar New Year and explored videos teaching us how to use them.

• Celebrating Lunar New Year with Music and Joy

  On behalf of our kindergarten class, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation toward our Boomwhackers! The kids had an absolute blast using them, especially while following along with Lunar New Year songs. Their excitement and joy while making music were priceless! We will continue to use them throughout the year for other celebrations too!

• Inka, Binka, Bottle of Ink!

  Funded Aug 9, 2024

  Thank you for providing the half off offer so I could fund the other half of this project. Our classroom printer was completely out of ink, and now it has full ink again! We use the ink to print out certificates, projects, decor and so much more. The ease of having a printer inside our classroom, makes providing these things easier and in a more timely manner. Students received first day certificates, so they can remember and celebrate their first day in school. They were excited to show their families their certificates and tell them all about their school experiences. I can't wait to print out more certificates, awards, and projects for them to complete.”

• SimpleSwitch Dramatic Play!

  Funded May 8, 2024

  Thank you so much for funding our project. My kids are loving this simple switch stand in their dramatic play area. It looks adorable, and the kids like the versatility of being able to switch it out to have different themes. Currently it is a cafe, where they can pretend to sell items to each other and serve each other. They are having so much fun, while learning to interact with each other, and developing their language skills. This simple switch stand provides them with so much fun, excitement, and learning opportunities. Thank you to DonorsChoose and our amazing community of generous donors!”

• Prizes Galore!

  Thank you so much for funding our project! My students earn "sparkles" that they can redeem to go into the prize box (vending machine). My kids are so sweet, hard working, and focused on earning their rewards. With all these new prizes, we have plenty of opportunities to reward students on their behavior. I can't wait for my new group of kindergarten students to start earning sparkles each day. I know they will be just as excited to go to the vending machine/prize box throughout the year. • Kindergarten Artists!

  Thank you so much for funding our project. My students can make so much more artwork in our classroom now that we have this art drying rack. It takes very little room, and is easy to move around the classroom as we create paintings, crafts, and other projects. My students love painting and making crafts in our classroom on a daily basis. This drying rack has allowed us to safely store their projects until everything is dry and ready to either go on our classroom walls, or go home to share with their families. Thank you so much for the support.”

• Dino Dig!

  Thank you so much for funding this project. My students loved learning about dinosaurs this year. During learning labs, they were able to become paleontologists, and find their own dinosaur bones. They had fun with the dinosaur eggs. They took them outside and used tools to carefully pull out their bones. After that, they had to determine which dinosaur they discovered. This experience was so much fun for my students. What a great way to end our school year in kindergarten. Thank you so much!”
