• Using Art to Improve Mental Health

  Thanks again for your donations to support students to improve their mental health through art. Your donations create a positive impact on students to stay mentally well by journaling, sketching or drawing in their notebooks.

  The students were extremely happy to receive new equipment to play their favorite sports. They are enjoying the equipment and playing extensive hours in the play ground after school. • Capturing a Community With the Use Interactive Technology

  Thanks again for your donation. I appreciate your support in providing the necessary technology so that my students can thrive. The technology device that was donated allows my students to navigate through websites and apps to improve their speaking, reading, listening and writing skills.

  My students are extremely excited to use advanced features to create and edit films and write their own films for school. My students are also excited about using the device to play educational games to support them with improving their language skills.

  The students that are particularly excited about the use of the device are my Newcomer students. These students are new to the country and are very appreciative and are grateful to live in a country where there are opportunities and resources to make their dreams a reality.”

• Good Nutrition!

  Thank you again for the healthy snacks that were donated. My students were very happy to learn about eating healthy and enjoyed every snack. I am very grateful and blessed for your donation and for making this project a success.

  Our next steps is to create posters to inform students about calorie intake and promote healthy eating habits across all age students. My students were highly motivated about learning about calories and what they can do to prevent other health issues for themselves and their families.”

When I told them that there are some nice people who got for you some clothing, I saw sparkling tears in their eyes. They were so excited and grateful to you for all your support and care about them. These students are innocent and wonderful kids who could not do well when they just lost their moms. It is thanks to you, Dear Donors that these kids will feel that their well-being and happiness matter to more than themselves and their teachers and maybe some kind of guardians. It is thanks to you my students will feel confident and will continue to do anything possible to grow as productive and good citizens of our country. It hurts so much when I see how some of my students suffer either because of not having parents or living in the shelter, or surviving a cancer.
