  • Math Materials for Kindergarten Inner City Students

    Funded May 17, 2022

    I want to thank you for your donations. Having a new calendar is great! We can count the days of the month. Talk about the seasons and the weather. The magnetic calendar is easy for my students to use and manipulate. We use this in our morning routine. My students are very appreciative and are very happy to use this calendar daily.

    Also the plastic number lines are very useful during our math groups. It is another tool that my students can use when adding or subtracting.

    They were eager to use their new school supplies. It was like Christmas in the classroom. I placed the materials on their desks. The great thing about these dry erase boards is that they can be used for the next years class. We will use them for Mathematics, Language Arts, & all subject areas.

  • Basic Materials for my Kindergarten Students for Second Semester

    Thank you for your generous donation. These school supplies are used everyday. My students write in their daily journal and enjoy using the dry erase boards. The dry erase boards are used for letter writing or a quick Social Emotional checkin with a drawing.

    My students were very excited to see all the new school resources for them. Their eyes lit up with excitement. I know that they felt that others are invested in their learning.

    I will be sharing their journal pages with parents during parent conferences. Students will be excited to showoff their writing and drawings.”

    Thank you for your donation. Having a SideTrak enables me to view the entire class in a glance and call on students without scrolling up and down when on zoom. This enables the class to transition smoothly from activity to activity.Students are continuously engaged. My students enjoy having the IPEVO because they can listen to stories and see illustrations clearly, they can follow along with math activities, and clearly see letter/number formation. Also having the mini books students are able to use during class for letter, number writing, and sentence writing. Having these materials and technology has improved my interaction with my students.
