Thank you so much for your generous donation. Thanks to your support and donations, my students have a calming area. They can have a space to regulate their emotions and identify their feelings, and calm themselves down. I noticed my students are more focused in class and have more positive interaction with each other. I noticed my students trying to control their emotions by taking a deep breath, playing soothing games, and reading books, relaxing at the flexible seating chairs you funded.
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donations and funding my project. Thanks to your support, my students benefit enormously both social-emotionally and academically. My students and I are deeply thankful for your donations and I hope you know how much we appreciate you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kim
This classroom project was brought to life by Olga Graham Inspiring Teachers Fund and 3 other donors.
Thank you so much for providing supplies for my students to start the year, especially art materials and lots of fun earning games. My students enjoy playing learning games with excitement during small group rotations and reinforcing the skills they learned in class with their peers everyday. I noticed their reading and math facts fluency skills have grown so much. Also, Thank you so much for the colorful markers you provided. My students use the markers to create diverse art projects and one of their proud art work was creating a place they would like to visit after reading " Tar Beach" by Faith Ringgold.
Your generous donations and support made all this learning and work possible. My students and I are so grateful for the kind contribution you made to our classroom. My students are able to access core subjects such as Reading and Math with fun learning games and to produce beautiful art work after reading rich literary text.
Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness in cultivating children's learning, imagination and creativity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kim

My 25 first graders need soft and comfortable cushions and beanbags to sit on during reading!!!
Our school is implementing "The Daily 5" practices and my first graders are excited about diving into the world of reading and building reading stamina. Week by week, we extend minutes that we can read to ourselves. In order to make this practice more pleasant, we need colorful and comfortable cushions to sit on or lay on during Read to Self Time. These cushions and bean bag chairs will provide a comforting and comfortable place and help us embark on an exciting journey to an unknown world.
