I teach high-achieving gifted 4th grade students at a magnet school in California. They have boundless energy and crave academic stimulation. They are competitive in nature and love interactive learning and working on projects to reflect their knowledge. I have 34 students in my class who all need attention in different ways. With only one teacher, it is hard for me to try and reach each one. I am adamant about not allowing any child in my class to "get lost in the shuffle" of the larger class size.
