    Our students at 93rd St. ES can't thank you enough for the books and ink we received! So far we have created a couple of hands-on reading centers with colorful and engaging games to increase phonics skills and fluency. My students enjoy reading the leveled sight word books and I am thrilled my students are recognizing the sight words learned in other texts. We have also put the ink to good use by creating beautiful certificates to celebrate the outstanding work of our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that met and/or exceeded the state benchmark tests last year. Thank you for investing in the lives that will one day rule our future!”

The most basic things a reading intervention teacher needs are ink and books! I really need a variety of leveled and sight word reading books for my youngest Kindergartener to my oldest 6th grade english learner student. I am confident that the non-fiction sight word books will engage and captivate my students in learning all of the most common sight words. My students enjoy being recognized with a simple reading certificate. The ink that will be kindly donated will help me print colorful achievement awards, take-home reading material, and interactive table games. Parents are also motivated to work with their children at home when their child is being recognized with a beautiful certificate.
