Our 6th grade students come from low economic standing, but they are eager to learn and explore, whether it be books or field trips. English is their second language. Most of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My students are working hard to overcome the hardships they've been dealt in life, and it is my job as their teacher to provide opportunities to light the fire of their imaginations.
