Learning Is Fun!
Funded Oct 11, 2023I would just like to say THANK YOU so much for donating to our classroom! WE LOVE THE EDUCATIONAL GAMES! Teaching post-pandemic has been even more challenging an endeavor than it normally is, but I am up for the challenge! My favorite 7- and 8- year olds were BEYOND excited when they saw the games! They let out a collective gasp and then cheer! It was so sweet!
We use the games as centers every day so that groups of students are engaged with each other while I work one-on-one with students to help them get the individualized attention they need! Reading and following directions, working as a team, and having FUN are all paramount in ensuring students retain information and enjoy coming to school! My students' overall academic average scores have improved since we received your donations and the smiles on their faces and the laughter that echoes in the halls is UNDENIABLY heartwaming! Thank you so much for helping us! We love and appreciate you all!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Peterson

Funded Nov 21, 2019Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generosity! My students are ECSTATIC at the possibility of being able to learn how to play the piano on the keyboards that you helped us get! I am so happy that I will be able to instill a lifelong love of learning to play and read music in my students, just as my parents did for me! My students may not have ever had this opportunity if it weren't for you and their parents are beyond grateful to you as well! I am blessed to be able to teach the best second graders in the world and special acts of kindness like yours warm my heart! May you have a wonderful year and smile every time you remember what you were able to do for our second grade class! Thank you and we love you!”

Music Matters!
Funded Mar 18, 2012Thank you, thank you, thank you for the recorders and sing-along CD player you all so generously donated to my classroom! I cannot begin to convey my gratitude but I will try!
When I found out our recorders were coming, I sent home an announcement and the parents' positive responses were overwhelming! They were especially grateful that their children were going to be given an instrument they may not have been able to afford to give them and that their little loved ones were going to be able to learn a skill they may not have been able to teach them! I was so touched by their enthusiasm and just very happy to be able to teach my students something that I learned at their age growing up because my parents were able to give me music lessons! I bought several beginning music books so that we could learn the names of each note and we are in the process of learning the song "It's a Small World!"
The joy of playing music that you have helped me instill in my kids is something for which I will be eternally grateful! My students' eyes light up every time anything remotely involving music is mentioned and they give a cheer every time I announce "It's time for music class!" They absolutely love it! My greatest joy in life is being able to see my kids learning, loving, smiling, and growing every day and you have helped me do this so THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Peterson
