My students come from a low income area. We are a Title 1 school and most receive free breakfast/lunch. The students I serve are English language learners who struggle to understand and learn a second language. They face many difficult challenges and school is a safe and exciting place for them to learn and grow. The majority of the students do not have access to a computer or the Internet at home. They lack the resources to meet the technology challenges of the future. My school does not have adequate funds to provide its staff with the necessary technology that students should be entitled to.
