We are one of the largest elementary schools with over 1,200 students. Our students travel from neighborhoods across Los Angeles. They are bussed in from all over the city, waking up as early as 6:00am simply for transportation. We are also a Title I school, with more than 70% of our students coming from low socio-economic backgrounds. My students are motivated to learn new concepts, eager for higher-level thinking challenges, and come to school with smiles on their faces everyday.

About my class
