• Work Space Items for the Innovative Minds

  Thank you so very much for funding my project: "Work Space Items for the Innovative Minds"

  The MSI monitor is HD and easily fits in the work space for the students so they can view online material such as Google classroom and videos assigned by me at a faster frame rate and better quality. The Headphones help to keep students engage without distractions.

  Also, this work space is used by high school students that need access to technology.

  I use this work space to plan lesson, to grade assignments submitted online, and to post work to my students.

  Some resources were not available at the time of funding, therefore I was able to replace them for art supplies, a Suptek Aluminum Tablet Desk Stand, and a Foldable Keyboard.

• Happy Start!

  I could not believe when I got the email that my project "Happy Start!" was funded.

  This was a dream come true. My students walk in the classroom and find their names written on the Lakeshore Modern Cursive Nameplates. They get Scented Motivational Stickers for a job well done, and they wear a Birthday Badge on their special day.

  The Giant Classroom Timer helps students seamlessly move from a group activity back to their desks for individual work or whole group instruction.

• Let's Keep Germs Away!

  Thank you so much for funding my project "Let's Keep Germs Away!"

  It was amazing to receive all these materials at the time when they were the most needed. Because of your generosity my students received hand sanitizer, masks, and Kleenex Ultra Soft Facial Tissues.

  The Bounty Quick-Size Paper Towels and the Lysol Disinfecting Wipes, helped us to keep the desks clean and also to bring them to the playground to clean benches and tables during recess and lunch time.

  Since some resources were not available at the time of funding, I was able to replace some items for art materials that the students will use for Mother's day projects and other hands on activities.”

• A Small Projector for Small Group Instruction

  Thank you so much for your generous donation for my project A Small Projector for Small Group Instruction.

  Some of the resources were not available at the time of the funding and for that reason I had the opportunity to replace them for other items such as the Voice Amplifier with Rechargeable Microphone Headset. This amplifier allows me to reach to all my students in and out of the classroom without having to raise my voice.

  I also received a DonorsChoose credit for some items to apply to their next classroom project.

  Because I have a DonorsChoose credit, I am excited to start planning my next project that I am sure will bring smiles to my students and I will be able to obtain materials for our next hands on project.”

• One Laptop For All

  Thank you so much for providing the laptop Apple MacBook Air with Retina display - 13.3'. Because of your wonderful donation, I can plan lessons, to deliver instruction to my students, and keep up with the daily communications through emails with colleagues and parents. Currently I am teaching virtually and I use the the Apple MacBook to deliver my lessons daily via zoom.

  This new Apple MacBook fulfills my needs and my students' needs.

  I have no words to describe how content my students and I were when we learned that you funded our project "One Laptop for All." I find it amazing that I am able to switch from one browser to another without wait time. This laptop is the resource my students and I needed.”
