Much Needed Class Materials
Funded Apr 11, 2010When I explained to the students that our request for materials and supplies to support the poetry unit was funded, they were excited. They clapped, jumped up&down, and used so many other words to express there feelings about the materials. Everyday they would ask me when were the supplies coming because they started the poetry unit and they were anxious about having the materials to create their illustrations.
When they supplies arrived, it felt like unwrapping Christmas presents! That is how excited the students were about the supplies. After I removed all the items from the box, one student asked in a very meek voice, " Are these all for us." I informed him that it was and his reply was a very loud, "yes." It bought tears to my eyes. All of you were able to make it possible for my students to achieve excellence in their work. There is a saying the art teacher in my school always quote, " there is an artist in all of us." You all made this true by showing the students people do care about making their dreams come true. I appreciate and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!”

When I made the announcement that our materials and resource had arrived, the students couldn't contain themselves with the shouts of excitement. My heart became very heavy with the pleasure of the donations the students received.
The students were able to complete outstanding projects with the donations. What students received and produced hopefully will make an life long impact on their lives. Thank you!”

Basic Supplies Are Needed
Funded Oct 2, 2014Three cheers for all of you!!! Thank you for your gracious donation to my classroom. They were overjoyed when the supplies were delivered to the classroom. These resources has made an impact on the quality of work the students are producing.
These supplies are being utilized in all areas of study. During social studies, they created a map of Latin America and wrote about the impact Latin America has made in our society. The notebooks supported the rigorous and critical thinking the students are producing when responding to high order questions.
These supplies has increased the students ability to compete with other students around the world and has given me the ability to continue the high expectation I have for all of my students.”

Help! The Students Need Supplies
Funded Dec 30, 2013The students in my class really appreciate the value you have on education. They were overjoyed with the materials and also the fact that someone who doesn't know them would donate the resources to the classroom. As we unpacked the resources, I heard pieces of conversation among the students that reflected their ideas on what projects they could complete with these materials. That made my heart fill with pride.
The students completed many projects in literacy, science, and social studies. They were able to created many meaningful assignments with the color pencils, which added value to their work. The students were very proud! Thank you.”

Funded Dec 30, 2011Your generosity made a great impact on the students in my classroom. You may never know how your kindness toward these children changed their commit toward their academics. My students come from very proud parents who would love to give their children every possible technical advantage they need in order to grow educational. Certain circumstances prevent my parents from providing the basics in order for them to grow in this technology world. Your donation gave these students the ability to function like any other student in the world.
The students and I were so excited when we received the cameras. The students couldn't wait to work on the digital project we have been discussing. They were finally ready to start the science project. Each group would record their findings using the cameras. Your donations allowed them to use technology to showcase the journey that they traveled during this project. We live in a technology world and your kindness gave them the ability to compete with other students around the world.
Your donations made them feel empowered because knowing that they have the power to actual show and explain to someone what they did, made a huge impact on their self-esteem. Being able to document what they did also improved their writing abilities because using the visual as well as their memory proved to be a great tool when they explained the different steps they made.
I can never thank you enough for your kindness because you have made an impact on my student's lives that will last forever. ”

Starting a New School Year with Classroom Supplies
Funded Dec 30, 2011Your generosity made a great impact on the students in my classroom. You may never know how your kindness toward these children changed their commit toward their academics. My students come from very proud parents who would love to give their children every possible material or supplies that they would need to grow educational. Bu certain circumstances prevent my parents from providing the basic supplies the students are required to have. Your donation gave these students the ability to function like any other student in the world.
The students and I were so excited when we received the supplies. Finally the students could work on different projects and not be limited to waiting for someone else to finish with the crayons, markers, or glue. The composition notebooks were used to create a writing journal that was incorporated in the lessons to start their morning off with a great journal prompt. Because they received the notebooks with your donations, my students has improved in their writing because the notebooks allowed them to show consistency in there writing as well as review mistakes in order to avoid making the same errors again.
One of the conclusions the students were able to make about the donations was that they could use the supplies with any subject or activity they were working on. The students made this realization during out Author Study on Patricia Polocco. The students used different construction paper as well the colored pencils that was provided for them with your donation. One of them mentioned how we used the same material during a social studies activity.
I can never thank you enough for your kindness because you have made an impact on my student's lives that will last a life-time. ”

Please Help Us, We Enjoy Reading!
Funded Dec 31, 2010On the behalf of my class and myself, we are so grateful for the donation. What you have done is given the students a chance to compete with other students their age. The knowledge that these students will gain from reading the non-fiction books will shape their lives forever. When they were informed that they received the donation, the excitement on their faces were priceless. When the books finally arrived, I can't express how fast their fingers fumbled over the books in order to be the first to read about our American history. Thank you very much for what you have done to shape my students future.”
