  • Great Art Library

    Funded Jun 7, 2008

I am so excited about receiving these books. I know that they will be a tremendous asset for my students. I purchased some similar books at our local museum this year. I was very pleased to see how they brought the art to life for my students. They were able to make connections to both the art and the artists. They also retained the information for a long period of time because the information was presented both orally and visually.

Thank you very much for helping to expand my classroom library.

  • Skeleton in the Classroom

    Funded Mar 31, 2008

Thank you so much for providing my students with this excellent resource. I have found that students of all levels benefit from a study of basic anatomy. Having the skeleton in the classroom will be a great asset that my students will use and learn from for years to come.

    Again thank you very much.

My students need the opportunity to be introduced to great art and artists through literature and activities. I teach art at an inner city school to students from low income families. Sadly most of them have had very little exposure to fine arts and artists.
